In April 2018, voters in Virginia's 5th Congressional District selected the Democratic nominee to run for the U.S. House of Representatives through the 23 caucuses held that week. Leslie obtained more than a majority of the delegates, securing her nomination on the first ballot of the convention.
The convention will be held on Saturday, May 5th at 10 AM in Farmville at the Fireman's Sports Arena. At the convention, delegates elected at each of the 23 caucuses will vote for their chosen candidate. This convention will be an energizing moment for all the Democrats in the 5th district to come together as one force.
Similarly to the caucuses, the convention doors will open at 10 AM and close promptly at 11 AM. Once doors have closed no one will be able to enter to participate in or observe the convention.
Transportation to the Convention
